Basketball Recap: Sotomayor Drops Highest Score of Season Against Stevens

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sotomayor). They claimed a resounding 83-10 victory over the Stevens Falcons. The WILDCATS have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

The win (which was Sotomayor's third in a row) raised their record to 14-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39 points. As for Stevens, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.

Sotomayor will face off against Taft at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sotomayor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Taft likes a good challenge. As for Stevens, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Stevens Falcons face off against the Harlan Hawks at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
