Cardinal Stritch was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost to the Edon Bombers on the road  by a   50-35 margin. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their  loss to the Bombers from their previous meeting  back in January of 2018.
 Despite the  defeat, Cardinal Stritch saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Amaya Hill  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 11  rebounds.  Morgan Kennedy was another key player,  putting up seven  points.
Cardinal Stritch's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Edon, their victory  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-13.
 Cardinal Stritch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  45-30  win against Vanlue on the 28th. As for Edon, they will challenge North Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Edon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
