After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Penns Valley Area, the Juniata Indians were happy to have found some success on Monday. They managed a 52-47 win over Millersburg. For Juniata, this counts as revenge for the 50-42 defeat Millersburg walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Millersburg lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Colt Bellis, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Nolan Schreffler, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Juniata now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Millersburg, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-12.
Juniata won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Line Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Line Mountain will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Millersburg, they will be playing at home against Upper Dauphin Area at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
