On Friday Wall take on Edgemont at 7:00 PM. Edgemont will need to watch out since Wall have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.
Wall put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 42-12 margin over Philip. Among those leading the charge for Wall was senior Jacob Bielmaier, who picked up 80 yards on the ground and accumulated 200 passing yards. Bielmaier has been a consistent playmaker for Wall as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 61 points the game before, Edgemont faltered in their match last Friday. They took a serious blow against New Underwood, falling 0-50. The state rankings had actually given Edgemont a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Wall took the matchup and then some with a 50-0 victory the last time the two teams met over Edgemont. Will Wall repeat their success, or does Edgemont have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
