Baseball Recap: Pine View Wins Going Away Against Emery

Pine View never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 15-0 margin over the Emery Spartans. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Raiden Hunt was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Cash Sisneros, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Pine View hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Pine View's record now sits at 6-1-1. As for Emery, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, Pine View and Emery will both be playing Juan Diego Catholic the next time they take the field. Emery will head out to face Juan Diego Catholic at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, while Pine View will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
