Jacob Foot Delivers Best Performance of Season
Longmont was led to victory by Jacob Foot, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Foot picked up 233 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.
Longmont's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. They and Grand Junction Central are set to duel on Friday.

Servando Morales posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 177 yards and two touchdowns.
Skyline is on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Falcons faces off against Adams City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Joey Foot produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Longmont to the win on Friday. Foot picked up 150 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles and defended a pass.
Foot must have Skyline's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Foot picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Falcons duked it out back in September of 2023.

Broomfield was led to victory by Darien Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (22) he has had since back in November of 2023.
The win (which was Broomfield's third in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Jackson and Broomfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
