Mason waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Goldthwaite Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Punchers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mason's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Goldthwaite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mason will venture away from home to take on Sonora at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up.
