With a playoff game on the line, the Randle Lions rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 47-21 victory. Considering Randle has won eight contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Landen Callis-Williams was his usual excellent self, rushing for 172 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry. Sincere Timpson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Belton's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Diego Coleman, who picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Dathan Walker who picked up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The win was the seventh in a row for Randle, bringing their record for this year to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points per game. As for Belton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
Randle will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Huntsville at 1:00 p.m. on November 24th. Belton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
