Chris Germinal Delivers Best Effort of Season
Immokalee was led to victory by Chris Germinal, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Germinal threw for 327 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 83 yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for Immokalee, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Germinal and Immokalee will welcome Gulf Coast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Another Immokalee player making an appearance on this list is Jontay Hais. He rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries.

A Season-Best Effort from Solomon Powell Leads Golden Gate over Barron Collier
Golden Gate came up short on Friday despite Solomon Powell delivering his best game to date. Powell rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Golden Gate is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Powell and Golden Gate will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on IMG Academy White at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Steven Rousseau was a major factor in Palmetto Ridge's victory over IMG Academy Blue on Thursday. Nobody could stop Rousseau as he made three total tackles. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
Palmetto Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-4. Rousseau and Palmetto Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Devon Messenger Turns in Season-Best Performance
Devon Messenger put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Thursday. He picked up 59 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 61 yards.
For the season, Messenger has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 33 receiving yards per game.
