They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 65-18 victory over Varsity Opponent. The win was familiar territory for Heartland Christian who now have five in a row.
Landon Clemens was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Isaac Brown was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Heartland Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 18 of their last 19 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 396-1443-2 record this season.
