Community School of Naples added to the longest winning streak in Gulf Atlantic - Gulf this week by beating Gateway Charter, 35-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
St. Stephen's Episcopal took down Oasis 40-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Luc Goeders ran for 126 yards during the win.
KENNY HARDY JR was the best receiver in the league this week as the Griffins fell to Community School of Naples. HARDY JR tallied 4 receptions for 69 yards. BYRON BOSTON helped Gateway Charter's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 65 yards.
Damon Jones' team's Drew Tomaini and George Schmelzle have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tomaini has thrown for 1,472 yards this season, while Schmelzle has 29 catches for 505 yards. NICK DUNKELLY from Gateway Charter leads the league in rushing with 558 yards.
An important game coming up in Gulf Atlantic - Gulf this week will be when Canterbury takes on the Falcons. At the moment, the Cougars are in third, while St. Stephen's Episcopal is in second.
