On Friday, The Bingham Miners faced the Syracuse Titans in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bingham came out on top against Syracuse by a score of 29-21. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bingham.
Among those leading the charge was Triston Brimhall, who rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Brimhall was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Another player making a difference was Chase Swensen, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown.
Bingham is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Syracuse, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.
Bingham will square off against American Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. American Fork has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 145 points over their last four matches. Syracuse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
