Josie Whelan and Kate Vaughn certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Whelan scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Vaughn scored three points along with five assists and two steals. Whelan hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games.

Abby Mclay continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Battle Ground Academy, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Ann Gentry Lambert was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
University School of Nashville has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Battle Ground Academy, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.

As for Battle Ground Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Columbia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Columbia Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Saturday.
