Brandon never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Meridian Wildcats with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Kameron Jordan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Chloe Jenkins was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Kelsey Keeton was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Brandon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .545. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
