The Warren County Screaming Devils will be playing at home against the Washington-Wilkes Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Warren County will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Even though Warren County has not done well against Jasper County recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Warren County enjoyed a cozy 67-49 victory over Jasper County.
Ra'Quavian Jones and Darius Hill were among the main playmakers for Warren County as the former scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and five assists and the latter dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hill scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamarion Darden, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Washington-Wilkes beat Lake Oconee Academy 52-40 on Tuesday.
Warren County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Washington-Wilkes, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Everything came up roses for Warren County against Washington-Wilkes in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 66-30 win. Will Warren County repeat their success, or does Washington-Wilkes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
