Tamaqua won the last time they faced Marian Catholic and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Tamaqua Blue Raiders never let Marian Catholic get on the board and left with  an   11-0  victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Blue Raiders.
 Mason Ligenza was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. What's more,  he gave up only zero  hits, the fewest he's  had since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring four  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 3-for-3. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.

 In other batting news,  Luke Kane was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Noah Mateyak, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Tamaqua's record is now 2-0. As for Marian Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tamaqua will welcome Schuylkill Valley  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Marian Catholic, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against MMI Preparatory School  at 1:00  p.m.
