Faustina Academy suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Trinity Christian Academy on the road and fell 79-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Faustina Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Grayson Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell to Tournament Opponent 64-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Faustina Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Grayson Christian, they bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
Faustina Academy skirted past Grayson Christian 2-0 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Will Faustina Academy repeat their success, or does Grayson Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
