Perry came into their this week averaging 32.57 points per game, but Perry fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They were dealt a punishing 0-37 loss at the hands of Beecher. The state rankings had actually given Perry a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The defeat dropped Perry's record to 3-5. The victory was the 5th in a row for Beecher, as they raised their record to 6-2.
Next week Perry take on Bath at 7:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup. As for Beecher, they will face off against Byron. Byron took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Beecher's good fortune.
