Meanwhile, Westville came tearing into Tuesday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 7-3.
Lilly Kiesel was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits. Kiesel was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Laney Cook was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Madison Jones, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
