The New Brockton Gamecocks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. Their tough 51-29 loss to Kinston might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points New Brockton has scored all season.
Despite the loss, New Brockton saw an underclassman step up: Gabriella Eubanks scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
New Brockton's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Kinston, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.
After both having extra time off, New Brockton and Daleville will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Daleville is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak. Kinston will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Elba at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
