It was a good run, but The Ben's Ford Christian Eagles unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by DeSoto 50-14. Ben's Ford Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-8.
Ein Knight threw for 58 yards and a touchdown. Jonah Williams was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards. On the ground, Dashell Houston rushed for 39 yards.
Ben's Ford Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for DeSoto, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Ben's Ford Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. DeSoto will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Porter's Chapel Academy. Porter's Chapel Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
