Douglass has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Kingman Eagles on Friday. Kingman took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Douglass, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Douglass beat Central 35-29.
Meanwhile, Kingman came up short against Nickerson on Tuesday and fell 53-42. Kingman has struggled against Nickerson recently, as their game on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Kingman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10-1.
Douglass took a serious blow against Kingman in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 72-43. Can Douglass avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
