Boulder lost against Brighton on October 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Boulder ultimately came up short, they really made Brighton work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-27, 25-11, 13-25, 16-14.

Lucianna Welles paced Boulder's offense, picking up 15 kills. Welles got some help from Mackenzie Horning and her 30 assists. Sloane Smith and Abby Hellen kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Brighton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Boulder has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Riverdale Ridge on the 30th. As for Brighton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mountain Range on the 30th.
