Walthill simply couldn't be stopped on Friday, as they easily beat Lewiston 55-6. The success represented a nice turnaround for Walthill, who in their last game suffered a tough 27-77 loss.
Walthill's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 39 points in the first half. Lewiston came up with 6 to make it 39-6 heading into the break. The Walthill defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The matchup pushed Lewiston down to 1-2 and pulled Walthill up to the reverse at 2-1.
Walthill will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Santee in two weeks at 3:00 PM. As for Lewiston, they will face off against Harvard.
