The Dinwiddie Generals scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Colonial Heights on the road to the tune of 66-39. The victory was just what Dinwiddie needed coming off of a 49-24 loss in their prior contest.
Dinwiddie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carolina Berry led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven assists. Nala Bain was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Dinwiddie has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Colonial Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dinwiddie won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Matoaca at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Matoaca is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Colonial Heights, they will be playing at home against New Kent at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
