Greater Nanticoke Area had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Hanover Area Hawkeyes by a score of 5-2 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Derek Shemanski was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Joey Stout also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Greater Nanticoke Area's win bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Hanover Area, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greater Nanticoke Area will face off against Crestwood at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Hanover Area, they will square off against Holy Redeemer at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
