Ilwaco was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took a  blow against the Napavine Tigers, falling  34-7. The Fishermen were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 Haddox Hazen threw for 109 yards and one  touchdown.   Cody Kaino was his top target, picking up 79 receiving yards.  On the ground,  Dylan Pelas rushed for 29 yards.
  Caleb VonPressentin had an outrageously good game for Napavine as he rushed for 298 yards and a pair of  scores while picking up 13.5 yards per carry.  Dean Hamilton was another key rusher, rushing for 73 yards and two  TDs.
Ilwaco now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Napavine,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-4.
 Coming up, Ilwaco will square off against Adna at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Napavine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Pe Ell/Willapa Valley's defense has only allowed 12.6  points per game  this season, so Napavine's offense will have their work cut out for them.
