The Canterbury School Saints earned  a  4-1 victory over the Hopkins Hilltoppers  on Thursday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Saints.

Canterbury School got a great performance from  Jake Pomichter as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over six innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave  Pomichter a new career-high in  strikeouts (five).
 On the hitting side,  Tyler Kisling and  Aaron Morice did most of the damage at the plate:  Kisling  went 1-for-2 with one  home run, while  Morice  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Morice has posted since back in May of 2024.  Ryan Gabianelli was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI.
Canterbury School's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hopkins, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canterbury School will venture away from home to  challenge Millbrook School  at 2:30  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Hopkins, they will head out to  face off against King  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
