It was fun while it lasted, but Bishop O'Dowd's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Saturday. They fell just short of the Las Lomas Knights by a score of 2-1. The match marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bishop O'Dowd actually scored more points across those three sets (62-61), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 19-25, 15-12.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bishop O'Dowd fell to 5-1. As for Las Lomas, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Bishop O'Dowd didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Deer Valley on the 8th. As for Las Lomas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Albany on the 8th.
