Exeter had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Trinity Pioneers 16-8 on Saturday. The Blue Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Exeter, bringing their record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Trinity, with the defeat, they broke their 14-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-4.

Coming up, Exeter will face off against Pinkerton on Wednesday. The Astros will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something the Blue Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
