The Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda lost against the LaSalle Royal Lions back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Don Soffer Aventura took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of LaSalle.
Don Soffer Aventura lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nimrod Amiel Eilon, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Amiel Eilon pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tom Sela, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Don Soffer Aventura has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for LaSalle, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.
Don Soffer Aventura will take on Coral Springs Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. LaSalle will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
