The Warren Warriors suffered their biggest defeat since December 30, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 78-55 loss at the hands of Anahuac. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Warren has suffered against Anahuac since December 11, 2021.
Despite the loss, Warren still got an impressive performance from Jerrod Yeagin, who scored 26 points. Lewis Petty was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Warren has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Anahuac, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
Warren will be playing in front of their home fans against Kountze at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kountze knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 15 matchups -- so hopefully Warren likes a good challenge. As for Anahuac, they will head out on the road to square off against East Chambers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
