After only one run in their last contest, Sickles made sure to put some runs up on the board against Robinson on Tuesday. The Sickles Gryphons blew past the Robinson Knights 14-1. The Gryphons have beaten the Knights the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Knights has come to flipping the script.

Jaden Nazar and Emilio Salgado did most of the damage at the plate: Nazar went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double, while Salgado scored a run while going 4-for-5. That's the most RBI Nazar has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Charlie Martz, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The victory got Sickles back to even at 2-2. As for Robinson, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Sickles has already played their next matchup, a 6-2 win against Durant on the 20th. As for Robinson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Blake on the 20th.
