Tristan Weigum gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Monday. He was dynamite, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has become a key player for Eastside Catholic: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Weigum's strong effort led Eastside Catholic over Lakeside and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders are 8-2 against the Lions going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
