The West Noble Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 49-25 loss at the hands of Central Noble. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Noble in their matchups with Central Noble: they've now lost three in a row.
Alexia Mast was West Noble's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Mast also led the team in assists with three. She held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Central Noble's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Swank led the charge by dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Swank also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Vice, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
West Noble's loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-11. As for Central Noble, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Noble will face off against Prairie Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Noble, they will head out on the road to face off against Wawasee at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
