While Rondout Valley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Red Hook Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 7-2 victory. Considering Rondout Valley have won four contests by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Rondout Valley and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those two matches. As for Red Hook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Rondout Valley and Red Hook will both be playing Mount Academy the next time they take the pitch. The Ganders will host the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
