Winters has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the East Nicolaus Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Winters, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-38 loss to Durham. Winters has struggled against Durham recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, East Nicolaus scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Live Oak by a score of 72-64. The win was a breath of fresh air for East Nicolaus as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Winters' loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for East Nicolaus, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15.
Winters was able to grind out a solid victory over East Nicolaus in their previous matchup back in January, winning 54-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Winters since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
