Cook Inlet Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Kalskag apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.
It was another big night for Elizabeth Levi, who scored 14 points for Kalskag.
Cook Inlet Academy dropped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kalskag, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alaska (Lumen Christi is ranked 61st, while Cook Inlet Academy is ranked 77th). Kalskag will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ninilchik at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Riley Tucker and Levi.
