Arroyo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rosemead recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Knights will host the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Arroyo barely beat Mountain View the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.
Emily Rubalcava made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting two hits.

Arroyo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.

Rosemead let Jenavee HOLGUIN and Jaelene Torres run wild. HOLGUIN got on base in four of her seven plate appearances with four runs and one triple, while Torres went 3-for-4 with three runs and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Valeria Na?ez, who got on base in three of her six plate appearances with two runs.
Arroyo pushed their record up to 13-9-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Rosemead, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Everything went Arroyo's way against Rosemead in their previous matchup on April 4th, as Arroyo made off with a 16-1 victory. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
