Volleyball Recap: Winter Park Wins Going Away Against East River

Winter Park won the last time they faced East River and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Falcons 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 25-20.

Tristan Guitton paced Winter Park's offense, picking up 12 kills. Guitton got some help from Jacob Little-Phillips and his 28 assists. Guitton was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Winter Park is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for East River, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-19.

Winter Park and East River are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wildcats will take on University at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East River, they will challenge Lyman at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
