The Yosemite Badgers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 69-22 defeat at the hands of Tulare Union.
Despite the loss, Yosemite saw an underclassman step up: Lucas McGoldrick scored nine points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McGoldrick has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Yosemite struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Yosemite has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Tulare Union, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.
Yosemite and Paso Robles will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Paso Robles is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Tulare Union and Kerman will face off on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kerman knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Tulare Union likes a good challenge.
