Cross County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Earle on Friday at 7:00 PM. With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory.
It was a close one, but two weeks ago Cross County sidestepped Harrisburg for a 22-20 win. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Earle had a rough outing against Central, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Earle strolled past Barton with points to spare last Friday, taking the matchup 36-16.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-1. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
