Despite the defeat, Maeser Prep Academy got a solid performance out of Autumn Dossey, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds and two blocks.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Maeser Prep Academy struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
American Heritage's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
American Heritage took their win against the Lions in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 55-32. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Maeser Prep Academy's Octavia Mosher, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 19 rebounds.
