The Millikan Rams on the road again and play against the Jordan Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Last Monday, Millikan came up short against Garfield and fell 59-46. While losing is never fun, Millikan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 658th, while Garfield is ranked 252nd).

Meanwhile, Jordan's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 80-64 fall against St. Anthony. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Millikan has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Jordan, they bumped their record down to 9-11 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Millikan ended up a good deal behind Jordan in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, losing 87-71. Can Millikan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
