Calumet Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success. They claimed a resounding 56-9 victory over Hebron at home. That looming 56-9 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Calumet Christian yet this season.
Calumet Christian can attribute much of their success to Anna Prim, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals, and Makenna Landkrohn, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Prim continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nora Prim, who scored four points along with ten steals and eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse College Prep Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Whiting at home and fell 63-2. Lighthouse College Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-2.
The victory got Calumet Christian back to even at 8-8. As for Lighthouse College Prep Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
