Glen Tavesi ran for two touchdowns and
Andrew Judd added two as well as
Pima (Ariz.) bested Fort Thomas (Ariz.) 66-18 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Kason Bedolla in the first quarter, the Roughriders led 44-6 at the half.
Pima expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. PHS scored four times in the third, including once on a Tavesi touchdown run.
With the win the Roughriders extended their winning streak to seven games. Pima defeated Ray 44-15 last week.
The defeat comes as a step back for Fort Thomas, who notched a 34-20 victory over Hayden in its previous outing.
Pima (7-0) goes up against Hayden in a VI Section IV (8 Man) game matchup next week, while Fort Thomas (2-5) locks horns with Superior also in a VI Section IV (8 Man) game.
