The Beachside Barracudas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 31 points or more this season. They blew past Bartram Trail 59-28 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Beachside who now have four in a row.
Beachside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Cremen, who scored eight points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Anni Ament was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven steals.
Beachside pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Beachside will stay at home for another game and welcome Andrew Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th. Andrew Jackson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Beachside is ranked 83rd). As for Bartram Trail, they will head out on the road to face off against Mandarin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mandarin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Thursday.
