The Kenwood Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their seventh straight  loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  49-38 to Dickson County, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Kenwood has struggled against Dickson County recently, as their  game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
 Kenwood lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Yazmine Pearson, who  scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nyla Murphy, who  scored nine points.
 Dickson County's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Keely Webb, who  scored 21 points along with five  rebounds and two  blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Webb has scored at least a third of Dickson County's points. Another player making a difference was  Jenna Saine, who  scored 12 points along with two  steals and two  blocks.
 Kenwood dropped their record down to 2-19 with that  loss, which was their 16th straight  at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they only averaged 27.8 points per game. As for Dickson County, their victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 6-19.
 Kenwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Kirkwood at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Tennessee (Kirkwood is ranked 375th, while Kenwood is ranked 374th). As for Dickson County, they will head out on the road to  face off against  West Creek at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hopefully Dickson County focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
