After flying high against Bridge to Independence last Thursday, Southland Christian came back down to earth. The Southland Christian FLAMES took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Life Prep Fire on Friday. The FLAMES were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fire apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Life Prep found their leader in sophomore Michael Munnings, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Rolle Jr, who had 13 points.
Southland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 28-5. As for Life Prep, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.
As of now, neither Southland Christian nor Life Prep have any future games scheduled.
