Given Cedar Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while Pflugerville is ranked 680th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cedar Ridge had a senior duo take command as Peyton Dulin scored 30 points along with 6 rebounds and Sam Fielding scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which Dulin has scored at least 25% of Cedar Ridge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Randall Guidry, who scored 11 points.
Cedar Ridge now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Pflugerville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Cedar Ridge's road trip will continue as they head out to face Coppell at 10:30 a.m. on December 9th. As for Pflugerville, they will square off against SA Roosevelt at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. SA Roosevelt is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 53.5 points per game.
